A: We provide support for our servers and planse we do not proved support for 3rd party scripts, web design (unless we designed for you) or coding how to's. We provide open forums at http://www.himarkhosting.com/forums for help with these other things. Both staff and experienced users monitor the forums.
Telephone support is provided between 9am-5pm Monday - Friday CST
We offer 24/7 email support. You may email support@himarkhosting.com with your questions and they will be answered in the order in which they arrive. We have some of the best response times in the industry.

Q: Can I add features to my account? How much will they cost?

Custom Plans
Q: Can you scale a plan for me? I need some additional features but don't need others. Can you customize something for me?
A: We only provide the basic plans we have published and can not scale a plan or customize it with less of one thing and more of another for the same price. We have our plans tailored to fit the majority of our customers at the lowest possible price.

Q: How can i pay for my account? What are your options?
A: We allow direct paymetns by credit card, e-check, money order, or by check. All costs are in US Dollars. We are unable to make exceptions to this rule.
Credit Cards Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

A: Our Window Serviers support ASP.NET and ASP. There is currently no support on LINUX Servers for ASP.NET or ASP.

Q Do you support Microsoft Access?
A: We now have Windows servers which support MySQL and MsSQL databases. We do support MsAccess if you use DSN ODBC drivers and modify your scripts to use the drivers.

MS SQL Server
Q: Do you provide MS SQL servers for our website?
A: Our Linux servers do not currently support MS SQL. Our Linux servers offer mySQL and postGREs databases

Free Hosting
Q: Do you provide any free or discounted hosting solutions?
A: Yes, HiMark Hosting, Inc. provides free hosting to Non for Profit organiztions only. We provide them with hosting on our severs and create them A record domain names (nonprofit.himarkhosting.com)

Anonymous FTP
Q: Can I enable anonymous FTP on my account and how much does this cost?
A: Anonymous FTP is allowed on any account with a dedicated IP address. A dedicated IP costs $2.50 per month paid in a lump sum for the contract term.
You would either select this during signup by clicking the "Yes, I want add ons" button or after account activation by emailing support@himarkhosting.com to make this request.
An email to support to add a dedicated IP would require the following details:
last 4 digits of credit card number on file with us
Cpanel username
authorization to charge the card for the IP purchase
acknowledgement that the IP will cost $2.50 per month paid in a lump sum for the contract term

Website Templates
Q: Does HiMark Hosting Inc. have website templates available?

We recently started to offer a new Lunarpages Web Builder which is free, much easier to use, and has unlimited number of pages that you can create. It also has a graphical interface to create Blogs, Shopping Carts, event calendars, eNewsletters, Database Tables, and Secure Users.
To activate the free Lunarpages Web Builder you will need to log into your cpanel, the quickest way to do so would be to go to the following link: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel (replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain) and enter your Lunarpages username and password.
In the cpanel towards the bottom you will see a blue happy face with the word Fantastico underneath it. Click on this. On the left hand side is a list of scripts that you can install onto your account, the one you want is listed under Site Builders, click on the LunarPages Webbuilder link.
In the upper right hand side underneath the Notice box you will see a link for New Installation, click this to begin the install process.
From there you can enter an administrative username and password to log into your new Lunarpages Web Builder account. Also, you can select any of the add-ons you want to have installed. You can install them all if you want but do not need to use them immediately.
To finish the install click the Install Lunarpages Web Builder button. When finished you will see information on how to log into your Web Builder account, you may want to bookmark the link.
